- Litens was the Original Equipment (O.E.) supplier of this part and offers this upgraded part for the aftermarket. The Litens product meets or exceeds all original equipment form, fit, and function specifications for this General Motors tensioner. The tensioner offered maintains the lift feature to assist in belt removal and replacement as well as a heavy duty steel pulley. Caution: Many Non-O.E. aftermarket suppliers have removed the internal damping components and incorporated a plastic pulley for this application. Choosing The Correct Replacement Part: The Litens aftermarket tensioner use a round spring versus a flat spring and is marked 'Made in Canada'.
