The Monroe® Magnum™ RV shock absorber utilizes advanced technology, combining a gas charge and full displaced valving for superior RV performance.

Robust hydraulic lock-out: Prevents over-extension of the suspension, top-out of the piston and averts damage to the seal assembly

Assist in maintaining ride height when up to 1,200 lbs of additional weight is loaded

Adjust rapidly to changing road and weight conditions, delivering enhanced control with uncompromised ride comfort

They offer superior comfort for normal driving and deliver extra control when operating conditions get more demanding

Nitrogen gas-charged: For improved ride and handling, helps maintain tire to road contact by reducing aeration - on most applications

Loop welding technique: Resistance weld with additional 360-degree weld to provide up to 9,000 lbs (4,082 kg) tensile strength for maximum durability - when required

1-3/8-inch (35 mm) Bore: Larger bore than most shocks to provide more efficient and consistent control

2-inch or 2-3/8-inch (50.8 mm or 60.3 mm) reserve tube: More fluid for more consistent performance - when required

5/8-inch (16 mm) diameter piston rod: Nitrocarburized design more environmentally friendly, maintaining chrome structural benefits, without affecting durability or use life of the rod.

Sintered iron design allows for more precise piston dimensions, requiring no additional components for exceptional fit - on most applications

Multi-lip fluid seal designed for smooth performance, long life and reduced friction
