FAQs - Accessory pulley alignment should be checked using a straightedge if a pulley alignment issue is suspected. the straightedge should lie flat across the fascia of two adjacent pulleys. if the straightedge does not lie flat, then one of the pulleys is misaligned. to validate which of the pulleys is causing the issue, check each against other pulleys until you isolate the one that is out of line. pulley alignment can also be checked with a laser alignment tool.
