FAQs - Do not operate motor off the transfer case or you will damage the motor and set an error code that must be cleared before the motor will operate. shift the transfer case into the position of the motor to install.
FAQs - The replacement motor drive is factory-set in the 2 wheel drive position.
FAQs - The transfer case must be manually shifted into the 2 wheel drive position before the installation of the replacement motor.
FAQs - This may be caused by a transfer case control module calibration issue. check for dtc's and calibration version āˆ’ there may be a software update from the original equipment manufacturer. if the motor attempts to shift, but sounds weak, check the front axle lock actuator. if the axle lock does not engage, the motor cannot complete its engagement.
